Fast Eddys By Cookshack Stainless Wood Smoker

September 3rd, 2010

Fast Eddy s by Cookshack smokers are 100 percent wood burning, pellet-fired smokers with Cookshacks exclusive IQ4 technology for precise temperature control. Cookshack s proprietary IQ4 electronic time and temperature controller is easy to use, and gives you consistent results with every load. When the smoke-cook cycle has finished the controller drops automatically to the hold temperature. Thermostatically-controlled temperature eliminates large heat fluctuations that dry and shrink meat. Patented automatic wood pellet stoker-fed system is operated by the IQ4 controller. It knows when the smoker needs more fuel; you can go away and leave it to do its job without your attention. Easy, flip-of-the switch starting brings the smoker rapidly up to smoking temperature. Burners stay on when doors are opened; heat recovery occurs in as little as 10 minutes. Some other smokers take up to an hour to bring the temperature back up. Racks are removable and can be power washed for quick clean up. This Smoker comes ready to use with Casters, Operators Manual, 40 lbs. Of pellets, Cookbook, and a Cookshack Spice Kit containing: 1 gal. Spicy Barbecue Sauce, 1 gal. Mild Barbecue Sauce, 5 lbs. The Spice Lilies

September 3rd, 2010

Members of the plant family Zingiberaceae, known as spice lilies, have been eaten by the peoples of the Far East throughout history for their healing properties as well as their delicious taste. Recent scientific studies have confirmed the wisdom in these folk practices: ginger, together with its relatives turmeric, cardamom, and galangale, has been found to be effective in treating and preventing a wide number of illnesses. The Spice Lilies is the first book to bring together in one volume all the medical, culinary, and historical information on these four spices. From their ability to stimulate production of saliva, gastric juices, and bile — all of which contain enzymes that digest food — to their noted antibacterial and antiviral effects, all the healing properties of this remarkable plant family are covered. Ginger and turmeric are famous for their ability to prevent arteries from clogging and are known to reduce the effects of rheumatic diseases. Cardamom not only reduces heartburn and freshens breath but also can alleviate coughs. Galangale can make cruciferous vegetables much easier to digest. In addition to providing complete health information on the spice lilies, Susanne Poth and Gina Sauer include more than 40 recipes designed to take full advantage of the healthy and delicious nature of these spices. From Thai soups that highlight galangale’s unique flavor to piquant lamb curries, apple chutneys, and ginger cookies, The Spice Lilies will make staying healthy a delicious endeavor.

PSPICE Power Electronic and Power Circuit Simulation

September 2nd, 2010

This book shows how to use PSpice to quickly analyze common industrial power electronic and power circuits. It would be most useful to an electrical engineer. The book begins with a brief review of PSpice with DC, AC, and transient analyses of simple circuits. It follows with examples that solve typical industrial circuit problems. One of the examples predicts the waveform of the electrical noise that would be transmitted through an inductor. In that example, PSpice would help the engineer properly size a filtering inductor. This can be important if the inductor is large or a custom item. Other examples find steady state and transient solutions for unbalanced three phase faults. PSpice’’s Probe program is used to make realistic output traces of transient analysis voltages, currents, and powers. All of the books examples are done with the free (Demo) Release 16.0 version of PSpice. Sources for obtaining free (Demo) copies of PSpice and other Spice programs are provided.
